I scheduled an appointment for 10 a.m. and was promised same-day diagnosis, with repairs expected to take one day. However, after waiting several hours, my car had not been diagnosed, and I was informed that the process would not begin until the next business day. I rented a car based on the original timeline, resulting in unnecessary expense and inconvenience. I returned early to retrieve my vehicle because I felt that if the service consultant was misinformed, anyone working on my vehicle would also be misinformed. I left without a diagnosis or repair, and the poor communication significantly wasted my time. I am dissatisfied with this experience and will not return or recommend this business to friends.

My experience with Ed Barnes personally was positive. He was professional, courteous, and communicated with me throughout the process. My frustration is with how the underlying vehicle issue was handled. My 2022 Buick Enclave previously required repair for a known manufacturer-related exhaust defect. The exhaust system developed problems again, and the resulting exhaust leak was followed by catalytic converter damage and a P0420 code. Despite the history of the manufacturer defect and the connection I raised between the exhaust leak and subsequent catalytic converter failure, I was told the catalytic converter was unrelated and GM declined to cover the repair. I was instead offered a $500 discount. I also experienced a significant fluid leak after the vehicle was serviced, which created an additional concern that had not existed beforehand. I appreciate Ed’s assistance, but I am extremely disappointed that I am being left responsible for an expensive repair that I believe resulted from a recurring manufacturer-related exhaust problem rather than normal wear and tear.
