Pick up the phone!

Pick up the phone!!!! I called the Buford location to talk to service to see when my truck would be ready at 9am. The Peachtree location picked up, took a message. “Someone will call you right back” 11am, no call, so I call the Buford location again. The Marietta location picks up, takes a message and says”someone will call you right back”. 1PM no call back, so I call Buford location agian, the peachtree location picks up the call , transfers me to the Marietta location, my tuck is at the Buford location. Leave a message again. 2PM call Buford store again. The Peachtree location. They transfer me to the Buford location, but can’t get the service department to answer the phone. They ask if I would like to leave a message, and I said no, I would like to talk to the service manager. “He is not available, would you like to leave Message.” Sure 3PM no call back, call the buford location. Peachtree location picks up again. “Oh hi sir, yes I think I have talked to you before, would you like to leave a message?”…. WHY WHEN I CALL BUFORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT, CAN I NOT GET ANYONE FROM THE BUFORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT DURING THE WHOLE DAY. Almost missed my daughter’s award night, because people can’t pick up the phone. I AM NOT SURE HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. INCASE ANYONE ACTUALLY READS THIS FROM BUFORD GMC, YOU CAN GO BACK AND LISTEN TO EVERY CALL, YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE RECORDING THEM FOR QUALITY PURPOSES. OH AND ANOTHER THING!! The phone connection transferring me from Peachtree to Marietta, to Buford needs some work! You can only hear static on the phone. Ed did apologize for the “inconvenience”, but not sure if any of it was his fault.

When I noticed that the 2020 Sierra AT4 I purchased from

When I noticed that the 2020 Sierra AT4 I purchased from Jim Ellis in May 2023 had a leaking back window, I originally took it for repair to my closest GMC dealer in Kennesaw. After 2 service visits they still had not repaired the leak and then stated that any further repairs would not be covered under my CPO warranty even though I was still within the time and mileage coverage limits. I turned to my salesman at Jim Ellis (Richard Newton) for assistance and he immediately coordinated with James Stecker in Service to get me a service appointment. James was perfect in terms of getting me into the schedule, communicating what they discovered, and finally resolving the leaking window issue - and within my CPO warranty. He was even able to coordinate a loaner vehicle for me which was a big help considering the distance I am from the dealership. The Jim Ellis team will now be who I turn to for any future service concerns, and they'll also be the dealer I turn to when I'm ready to upgrade to a new truck. But for now, I'm going to continue enjoying this one. Thanks Richard Newton & James Stecker!

Despite my multiple attempts, calls, and messages they still do nothing and continue to be associated with the wrong account. So this is a clear message that they need to do something about it.

I contacted the dealer via email with interest in a incoming truck. After explaining that I was out of town and couldn't come to the dealer they took the time to help me complete the deal with never stepping foot in the dealer until picking g up the truck. Very easy and stress free process.

Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service. Your service department messed up the steering column on my wife’s Acadia when she recently brought it in for an airbag recall, and when she brought it in to be fixed, the service rep gave her a hard time and tried to blame another place where they didn’t touch the steering column. Also, instead of fixing the problem that they caused, your service department supposedly did some inspection that my wife did not ask for and gave her an estimate of repairs totaling over $10,000 in an effort to gouge my wife. One of the outrageous costs was replacing the windshield wipers at well over $100 when nothing was wrong with them and we had recently replaced them. There were several other so-called repair items priced at several thousand dollars apiece on the estimate sheet that are not needed. The total cost of the recommended repairs exceeded the value of the vehicle. We’ve purchased three vehicles from your dealership in the past and likely will not be buying anymore vehicles from your dealership due to the terrible experience my wife just had. You guys should be ashamed.

Pick up the phone!!!! I called the Buford location to talk to service to see when my truck would be ready at 9am. The Peachtree location picked up, took a message. “Someone will call you right back” 11am, no call, so I call the Buford location again. The Marietta location picks up, takes a message and says”someone will call you right back”. 1PM no call back, so I call Buford location agian, the peachtree location picks up the call , transfers me to the Marietta location, my tuck is at the Buford location. Leave a message again. 2PM call Buford store again. The Peachtree location. They transfer me to the Buford location, but can’t get the service department to answer the phone. They ask if I would like to leave a message, and I said no, I would like to talk to the service manager. “He is not available, would you like to leave Message.” Sure 3PM no call back, call the buford location. Peachtree location picks up again. “Oh hi sir, yes I think I have talked to you before, would you like to leave a message?”…. WHY WHEN I CALL BUFORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT, CAN I NOT GET ANYONE FROM THE BUFORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT DURING THE WHOLE DAY. Almost missed my daughter’s award night, because people can’t pick up the phone. I AM NOT SURE HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. INCASE ANYONE ACTUALLY READS THIS FROM BUFORD GMC, YOU CAN GO BACK AND LISTEN TO EVERY CALL, YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE RECORDING THEM FOR QUALITY PURPOSES. OH AND ANOTHER THING!! The phone connection transferring me from Peachtree to Marietta, to Buford needs some work! You can only hear static on the phone. Ed did apologize for the “inconvenience”, but not sure if any of it was his fault.
